About AsAgreed
AsAgreed is an agreement-first platform for new-car buyers. A buyer identifies the exact vehicle, sets the out-the-door price or lease terms they will accept, and submits those terms anonymously to verified dealers. Dealers can accept, counter, or decline before the buyer chooses whether to share contact information.

AsAgreed does not sell vehicles, lend money, guarantee prices, guarantee dealer participation, or provide complete vehicle histories.
How AsAgreed earns money
Building and submitting an agreement is free. AsAgreed's intended revenue is an optional buyer service fee applied only after a dealer accepts and the buyer chooses to unlock the match. That fee is currently disabled pending legal review. The $500 Commitment Fund is a temporary card authorization that verifies buyer intent — it is never a fee, never sent to a dealer, and normally released without being charged.
How dealers participate
Dealers apply and are reviewed before activation. Approved dealers see anonymized, VIN-specific buyer agreements for the brands they sell and respond on their own schedule. Dealers never receive a buyer's identity or contact details until the buyer unlocks a match.
How data providers are used
VIN decoding uses the U.S. government's free NHTSA vPIC database for specifications only — never title, history, ownership, or condition. Any commercial vehicle-data providers used in paid research products are disclosed in the relevant methodology and used only within their licensing terms.
