Buyer Terms

AsAgreed is a buyer-driven car marketplace. You bring the exact VIN of the car you want, submit the terms you're prepared to accept, and back your request with a Commitment Fund. Dealers may accept, counter, or decline. AsAgreed is not a dealer, lender, broker, or party to any vehicle sale or lease.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the car details, terms, and information you submit. Offers should reflect terms you genuinely intend to honor. Submitting offers you do not intend to complete may result in account suspension and may put your Commitment Fund at risk.

“Commitment Fund” is AsAgreed's name for a temporary $500 authorization placed on your card to verify your commitment. It is not an immediate charge, not a separate account, not an escrow account, not a vehicle deposit, and not a payment to the dealer. It is not a fee for using the platform. AsAgreed does not receive the money unless the authorization is captured under the circumstances expressly described below.

The authorization will ordinarily be released without being charged. If an authorization has been captured and the decision is later reversed, the captured amount will be refunded.

Card authorizations are time-limited by your card network and may expire while a request remains open. AsAgreed will never re-authorize your card without your explicit confirmation.

Your authorization is released without charge when:

• No dealer accepts your offer.
• You withdraw your request before a dealer accepts.
• A dealer changes the accepted terms.
• The dealer no longer has access to the car.
• The car materially differs from what was represented.
• Financing is legitimately unavailable.
• A dispute is resolved in your favor.

Your authorization may be captured (up to $500) only after notice, an opportunity to respond, and human review, when:

• A dealer accepts your exact submitted terms and you refuse to engage.
• You unlock a match and then stop responding.
• You acknowledge you were not a serious buyer.
• A dispute is resolved in the dealer's favor.

During the product preview, no capture occurs at all — the payment flow runs in test mode. No capture will occur while facts remain disputed. Final forfeiture and dispute-resolution terms, including the disposition of any captured amount, are pending legal review and will be published before launch.

Dealers see only an anonymous Buyer ID, your region, credit band, timeline, deal terms, and Commitment Fund status. Your name, email, and phone number are never shared until you choose to unlock a match. All communication before a match happens through the AsAgreed platform. After a match unlocks, both sides proceed to final paperwork off-platform.

You must be legally able to complete the transaction in your jurisdiction. You agree to use AsAgreed in good faith and not to circumvent the platform to avoid the Commitment Fund or match process.

DealCheck is an optional search that takes the VIN of a new car and looks for the same factory build — year, trim, engine, packages, and options — in dealer inventory nationwide. It is informational: a match is not an offer, a quote, or a guarantee that a vehicle is still available or that any dealer will honor a listed price or terms.

Running a DealCheck search is free while we're launching — no charge and no card authorization. A search fee may be introduced later; any change will be shown before you search.

When you unlock results, you receive each matching dealer's identity — name, location, distance, listed price, and, where available, phone. You may contact those dealers directly. Any communication, negotiation, or purchase you pursue with a dealer is between you and that dealer; AsAgreed is not a party to it and does not guarantee price, availability, or condition.

Dealer listings, prices, distances, and contact details are drawn from third-party inventory and business-data providers and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate. Confirm the vehicle, price, and availability with the dealer before relying on them.
