Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Your privacy is central to how AsAgreed works — buyers stay anonymous to dealers until they choose to unlock a match. This policy explains what we collect and why.
This is a plain-language summary for the product preview. Final, legally binding terms are subject to counsel review before launch.
1. Information we collect
From buyers: name, email, mobile number, ZIP code, payment method, and the offer details you submit (the car, terms, timeline, self-reported credit band).
From dealers: organization details, contact information, and — in automotive — the brands you sell and franchise status.
2. How buyer anonymity works
Dealers never see your name, email, or phone number while your request is active. They see only an anonymous Buyer ID, your region, credit band, timeline, deal terms, and Commitment Fund status. Your contact details are shared with a dealer only after you choose to unlock a match.
3. How we use information
- To match buyer demand with qualified dealers by category and region.
- To verify identity and process the Commitment Fund.
- To enable anonymous, platform-mediated negotiation.
- To operate, secure, and improve the marketplace.
- To resolve disputes and prevent abuse.
4. Car identifiers
Car identifiers you submit are used to confirm the car. In automotive, VINs are decoded using public vehicle data services to confirm vehicle details. We do not perform ownership lookups or retrieve service history.
5. Payments
The Commitment Fund hold and any future optional service charges are processed by a third-party payment provider. AsAgreed does not store full card numbers.
6. Sharing
We share information with dealers only as described above, and with service providers (such as payment and communications vendors) who help us operate the platform. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Your choices
You can withdraw an open request, request access to or deletion of your information, and update your contact details. Contact us at hello@as-agreed.com.
